The Widened Magnet High-Torque Motor manufactured by Qianjiang Electric delivers powerful acceleration, heavy-load capacity, and steep-slope climbing performance, all while maintaining impressive top speeds.
Featuring Class H high-temperature-resistant enameled wire and an IP67 fully sealed waterproof design, it is ideally suited for mountainous terrain, high-intensity food delivery, carrying a passenger, or cargo-hauling electric motorcycle conversions.
The rotor uses widened, high-temperature-resistant neodymium-iron-boron magnets to increase the effective magnetic field area. Compared with motors using conventional standard magnets, torque is increased by 30%–50%.
The motor provides strong power at low speeds, allowing smooth starts under full load without sluggishness or rollback on slopes. It easily handles passenger carrying, cargo transportation, and muddy dirt roads.
High-temperature-resistant sintered neodymium-iron-boron magnets are used. The widened magnets provide a larger heat-dissipation contact area, resulting in lower rotor temperature rise.
During frequent acceleration and prolonged heavy-load uphill operation, the magnets are less likely to demagnetize due to high temperatures, allowing the motor to maintain consistent power.
The stator uses thickened H-class 180°C high-temperature-resistant enameled wire with fully automatic precision winding, resulting in lower coil resistance. Power loss is reduced during high-current output, and winding temperature rises more slowly during high-torque operation, helping prevent coil burnout under heavy loads.
The widened magnets optimize the magnetic field curve and solve the common problem of high-torque motors being powerful at low speed but slow at high speed.
Strong low-speed torque provides excellent climbing and heavy-load performance, while the magnetic field losses in the high-speed range are optimized, allowing the motor to achieve a respectable top speed. Suitable for both performance riding and daily commuting.
The Widened Magnet High-Torque Motor uses double-layer thickened rubber sealing gaskets, waterproof cable-entry connectors, and a die-cast sealed rear cover. It can withstand riding in the rain, passing through puddles, and exposure to mud and water splashes on mountain roads, helping prevent water and mud from entering the rotor and magnets and reducing the risk of magnet rust and Hall sensor damage.
Widened magnets generate more heat during operation, so the motor housing uses a thickened die-cast aluminum shell with heat-dissipation grooves. This accelerates overall heat dissipation from the stator and rotor.
During prolonged heavy-load delivery operations, the housing temperature remains more controllable, helping slow magnet aging.
The widened magnets are individually selected, and the complete rotor undergoes dynamic balancing calibration. Even during full-load starts and low-speed heavy-load operation, the motor avoids excessive vibration, shaking, and low-frequency humming, providing a smoother and more comfortable riding experience.
Standard Hall wiring and a universal disc brake mounting base are used. The motor supports sine-wave controllers, regenerative braking, and reverse functions. Multiple hub sizes from 10 to 17 inches are available, making it suitable for converting electric scooters, off-road electric motorcycles, cargo rear wheels, and heavy-duty electric tricycles.
Motor torque fundamentally comes from the interaction between the rotor magnets and the magnetic field generated by the stator windings. Widening the magnets effectively increases the width of the magnetic force area, generating greater electromagnetic thrust under the same current.
In conventional motors, magnet width is limited, so achieving higher torque often requires significantly increasing the current, resulting in excessive heat generation. Widened magnets can produce higher torque at lower current, resulting in lower heat generation.
The number of winding turns is customized according to the magnetic field characteristics of the widened magnets. The low-speed high-torque version uses thicker wires with fewer turns, while the balanced high-speed version uses optimized winding specifications to achieve a balance between torque and top speed.
The widened magnets are equipped with high-strength magnet fixing brackets and reinforced with adhesive. This prevents the magnets from becoming loose, shifting, or falling off under vibration and impact, making the motor suitable for off-road and uneven road conditions.

A: Under the same power rating and with the same controller, the widened-magnet motor provides significantly higher low-speed torque, giving it stronger performance during starting, climbing, and heavy-load operation. It also generates less heat under heavy loads and is less prone to power reduction.
A: Our windings are specially matched to the widened magnetic field. For applications that prioritize climbing performance, low-speed winding can be selected. For applications that require both torque and top speed, a balanced winding version is available. Customers can provide their road and usage requirements to customer service for the appropriate configuration.
A: For daily commuting and climbing, a 3000–5000W widened-magnet version is recommended. For frequent heavy-load use and continuous long steep climbs, a 6000W or higher specification is recommended.
A: The rotor magnets use high-temperature-resistant structural adhesive combined with external clips for dual fixation. Each motor undergoes vibration testing before leaving the factory. Under normal use on uneven roads, the magnets will not come loose.
