Product Structure

1. Stator: Fixed central shaft, laminated silicon steel sheets, three-phase enameled windings, and Hall position sensors (5 Hall signal wires).

2. Rotor: Hub housing, permanent magnet steel, and sealed bearings at both ends.

3. Sealing Structure: End covers and sealing rings. Standard products achieve IP54/IP67 waterproof and dustproof protection.

4. Wiring: Three thick phase wires (U/V/W) + Hall signal wires.

Working Principle

Battery Power Supply → Controller Regulation → The stator generates a rotating magnetic field → The rotor rotates → The wheel receives driving force.

The controller outputs three-phase alternating current to the stator windings, generating a rotating magnetic field. The magnetic field drives the permanent magnets on the rotor to rotate, and the motor housing directly drives the tire to rotate.

When the vehicle is coasting, the wheel drives the motor in reverse, enabling regenerative braking energy recovery (a standard advantage of direct-drive motors; geared models with a one-way clutch generally cannot recover energy).
